El día sábado 4 de mayo, en el Colegio Alta Cordillera, se realizó el primer torneo de ajedrez Rotary Azapa Chess Challenger, en donde participaron los siguientes estudiantes:
SUB 10
-Mateo Valle.
-Guillermo Henríquez.
-Leon Bustamante.
-Maximiliano Gonzalez.
-Luciana Yañez.
-Lian Guardia.
-Ambar Sandoval.
-Fernanda Cáceres.
Donde el alumno, Maximiliano Gonzalez Sir, obtuvo el Primer Lugar. Por lo que, es grato para nosotros informar, que es la primera copa para Andino’s Chess Club.
Además, los siguientes alumnos obtuvieron medalla:
-Lian Guardia: 5° lugar.
-Guillermo Henríquez: 6° lugar.
-Mateo Valle: 7° lugar.
SUB 12
-Guillermo Andrade.
SUB 14
-Danely Chapalla Tarque. Quien ganó el primer lugar en la categoría DAMAS, obteniendo así, la segunda copa para el Club.
Por último, en la categoría ENSEÑANZA MEDIA, participaron los siguientes estudiantes:
-Benjamin Tolmo.
-Santiago Jara.
-Erico Figueroa.
-Rodrigo Guerrero.
-Luis Valdechy.
Donde el alumno Benjamín Tolmo obtuvo la tercera copa para el Andino’s Chess Club con el tercer lugar.
Cabe destacar que, a excepción de Benjamín Tolmo, para todos los demás alumnos esta era su primera experiencia de este tipo de disciplina.

Where the student Benjamín Tolmo obtained the third cup for Andino’s Chess with the third place.
